VISIT Because ALL Children Matter

Salome Denny took on ownership of The Stripey Sheep in 2021, who since 2019 has been a member on the Board of Directors for an international non-profit organisation called Because ALL Children Matter. The charity works in Kenya with some of the most vulnerable children and families, especially those living their lives on the harsh streets of Nairobi.

The organisation is building a Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre that will be fundamental in protecting these children and women. It will also be a crucial building block in helping them create a brighter future! SEE Project here.

Salome Denny started selling her own stuff online for the charity during the second UK lockdown and had been fantasizing about setting up her own business in which she could also dovetail the charity work into. She saw The Stripey Sheep as a brilliant opportunity- to to be able to do even more for the street children and women in Kenya!

"I love what I do, helping others is my passion! I went to Kenya in January 2020 to help Because ALL Children Matter on the ground. It opened my mind to a level of suffering beyond what my previous imagination would allow.

Being able to sell beautiful items, and make a difference at the same time is just what I have always wanted! At The Stripey Sheep, we now donate a small % of our profits to Because ALL Children Matter and we will also be selling selected items for the charity (in which 100% will go to the organisation)".
